The NEW AAdynTech JAB Daylight Cinema is a compact 5600K LED fixture built for broadcast ENG remote field production, fixed studio installation, live sports coverage, video shoots, and film work. Coupled with high CRI (92+) performance, it delivers accurate, consistent daylight color for camera while remaining easy to deploy on fast-moving sets. Weighing in at only 19 lbs., its small compact footprint allows for an ease of transport for on-the-go lighting assignments.

Output and Power Efficiency for Real-World Production

An unmatched output of better than 1,508 foot-candles at 10 ft., combined with a maximum current draw of a mere 1.77 amps at full brightness, means savings up to 90% A/C energy usage. The fixture features precise brightness control with no color shift, so you can dim for exposure without chasing color correction in post or during a multi-camera broadcast.

Cool Operation and Safer Daylight Alternative

Unlike HMI fixtures, the JAB Daylight Cinema generates no heat and no harmful UV or IR emissions, an important safety consideration for both talent and crew. As with all AAdynTech fixtures, instant ‘ON’ ensures no warm-up wait time on set, ever.

Self-Contained Design and Flexible Power Options

The fixture is self-contained with an auto-ranging universal power supply requiring no heavy, expensive ballast, head cables, or replacement lamps. Auto range voltage supports 100/277 VAC, 50/60Hz. The fixture can also be operated on 28.8v DC battery power for instances where conventional A/C supply is problematic or non-existent.

Beam Control, Optical Efficiency, and On-Set Control

Optical efficiency provides a single light source effectively eliminating multiple shadows. The Daylight comes equipped with four quick change hard gel lenses to vary the beam angle, very narrow, narrow, medium, or flood, while maintaining a flat, even field (included 5 degree, 15 degree, 30 degree, and 55 degree lenses). For live production workflows, it includes full DMX control with DMX loop-thru via 5-pin XLR DMX In/Out, a momentary-off douse button, programmable lightning and strobe effects, and multiple user memory storage with recall.

Monitoring, Durability, and Compliance

Designed for demanding environments, it supports operation from -20c to +50c and includes a recalibration countdown hour ‘smart’ meter to help keep output consistent over time. Certified UL, ETL, CSA, CE, and RoHS compliant.
