Arri L7-C LED Fresnel

The Arri L7-C LED Fresnel is a fresnel-luminaire equipped with a high precision, micro-processor controlled LED light source for professional film, TV, and studio production. LED luminaires are much more efficient than light sources with conventional tungsten lamps, making the L7-C a practical replacement for traditional fresnel-luminaires with tungsten or daylight lamps while keeping a familiar on-set lighting workflow.

Fresnel performance with smooth focus control

The L-Series LED luminaires combine the advantages of the LED technology with the ease of use of a traditional fresnel-luminaire. The L7 integrates seamless into established working practice. Its focusable fresnel optical system delivers real fresnel characteristics with an extreme smooth beam and clean shadows, and the 7 in (175 mm) lens supports a continuous half peak angle adjustment from 15° to 50° for quick spot-to-flood changes without swapping fixtures.

Full color and adjustable white light

For matching mixed sources or creating motivated color, the L7-C provides continuously variable white light from 2,800 K to 10,000 K correlated color temperature, plus a full RGB+W color gamut with hue and saturation control. Color temperature tolerance is +/- 100 K (nominal) with +/- 1/8 green-magenta (nominal), and green-magenta adjustment is continuously adjustable from full minus green to full plus green for fine-tuning to camera sensors and existing practicals. High color quality is supported by CRI average > 94 and TLCI average > 90.

Dimming and control options for set and studio

Dimming is continuous from 0 to 100% for exposure trims without changing color temperature. Control is available via 5-pin DMX in and through for console-based workflows, the on-board controller for local adjustments, or Mini-USB for compatible setups.

Rigging-ready build

The L7-C mounts via a 28 mm spigot (junior pin) and supports a tilt angle of +/- 90° for common grid, stand, and pipe applications. Fixture dimensions are 17.2 x 14.7 x 13.8 in (438 x 374 x 351 mm) and weight is 18.1 lb (8.2 kg).
