The Luminex Ethernet-DMX2 Wall MkII w/ PoE input is a wall-mount Ethernet-to-DMX converter built for professional lighting networks that need reliable DMX distribution over Art-Net or sACN. With two configurable DMX ports (input or output) and a custom merging engine, it’s ideal for integrating consoles, media servers, architectural controllers, and installed systems where clean routing, monitoring, and fast troubleshooting matter.
Network-to-DMX Control for Installed and Touring Rigs
Designed for fixed installs and clean wall mounting, the robust metal enclosure and Neutrik connectivity make this node a practical choice for venues, studios, churches, and architectural lighting. The 100Mbps Ethercon network interface supports auto-negotiation with MDI/MDIX for straightforward integration into managed or unmanaged switches.
Flexible DMX Ports, Merging, and RDM Support
Each of the 2 DMX ports is configurable as an input or output and uses shielded, gold-plated Neutrik 5-pin XLR (female) connectors. Optical and galvanic isolation per port helps protect your network and fixtures from ground issues, while built-in termination and biasing support stable DMX runs. The unit supports DMX512 (1986 & 1990), DMX512-A, and RDM (ANSI E1.20) for compatible device discovery and management.
Advanced Tools for Routing, Monitoring, and Playback
Beyond protocol conversion, the Ethernet-DMX2 Wall MkII includes professional workflow features such as softpatch, a trigger system, ReRoute, a profile manager, and snapshot functionality. For visibility across your system, it works with LumiNet Monitor V2 (free) to assist with monitoring and diagnostics.
