The Luminex GigaCore RPSU 400 is a redundant power supply unit designed to add power redundancy for GigaCore 26i switches. Installed in a 19-inch rack enclosure, it can monitor up to three switches simultaneously and, if one switch power supply fails, it will automatically provide backup power to one unit at a time for seamless continuity.
Redundancy for GigaCore 26i Switches
In deployments where uptime matters, the RPSU 400 provides an additional layer of protection against unexpected power supply failures. It continuously monitors connected GigaCore 26i switches and switches to backup power when needed, helping reduce disruption during live or critical network operation.
Status Monitoring and Cooling
Clear front-panel indicators include one general status LED and three output status LEDs (one per output), so you can quickly verify which switch is being monitored or powered. For deeper visibility, the status of the RPSU is available through the GigaCore 26i switch web interface. Smart fan control helps manage cooling while avoiding unnecessary fan noise when demand is lower.
Power and Output Capabilities
The RPSU 400 uses a universal power supply (100 to 240VAC) for flexible installation in a variety of venues and regions. It can provide backup power to one switch at a time, including backup power over Ethernet to one switch at a time.
