This extremely bright LED profile fixture combines top-quality white light with a fast, smooth CMY color mixing system and crisp gobo projection on surfaces as well as mid-air. Designed for touring, theater, broadcast, and permanent installs, the Martin MAC Quantum Profile delivers a flat, high-contrast field that stays clean and consistent across the zoom range, making it a practical replacement when you want the look and punch of a traditional discharge profile without the same lamp workflow.

Color, Beam, and Image Control

Dial in saturated or subtle looks with CMY color mixing (0 to 100% independently variable), then refine quickly with a 6-color wheel plus open. For projection, it pairs a rotating gobo wheel (6 interchangeable gobos plus open, with rotation, indexing, and shake) with a static gobo wheel (10 gobos plus open, with indexing, rotation, and shake) for layered textures and fast scene changes. A rotating three-facet prism adds beam multiplication for mid-air effects, while the iris (0 to 100%) supports tight beam shaping and pulse effects.

Animotion FX and Fast Effects for Live Looks

With the Animotion FX system for beam animations, plus high-speed movement and effects, the fixture is built to keep up with timecoded shows and operator-driven busking. Electronic shuttering provides variable-speed strobe (regular and random), and electronic dimming offers four dimming curve options to better match camera requirements or theatrical fades.

Optics, Movement, and Practical Specs

A 1:3 motorized zoom with motorized focus and zoom-focus tracking helps maintain sharpness as you change beam size, useful for both gobos on scenery and aerial looks. Movement is expansive and controllable with 540° pan and 268° tilt, plus pan and tilt speed adjustable via the onboard control panel and DMX.

Compact and tour-friendly, it measures 452 mm (17.8 in.) long, 431 mm (17.0 in.) across the yoke, and 642 mm (25.3 in.) head straight up (648 mm / 25.5 in. max), and weighs 23.2 kg (51.1 lbs.).
