The High End Systems SolaSpot 3000 is a high-output LED moving head spot designed for large stages, touring rigs, and permanent installations that need intense brightness and deep effects capability. It delivers 37,000+ lumen output from a 1000 W ultra-bright white LED engine, with extensive beam shaping and layering tools that help designers build bold aerial looks, textured projections, and dynamic mid-air movement.
Output, color, and beam control
For punchy beams and smooth coverage, the fixture combines CMY/CTO linear color mixing with a six-position plus open replaceable color wheel. A 7°–55° zoom makes it practical for tight, long-throw beams as well as wider stage washes from a spot platform. An iris and light frost are included for controlling beam size and softening edges when needed. The TM30 filter boosts the ultra-bright engine to 85+ CRI, helping maintain more natural color rendering for camera and key-light applications.
Effects and pattern layering
The SolaSpot 3000 is built for complex looks without sacrificing speed or clarity. Three gobo wheels provide a total of 21 patterns, including one seven-position plus open interchangeable gobo wheel and two seven-position plus open rotating gobo wheels. Two continuously variable animation wheels add motion texture for clouds, flames, water, and other scenic movement effects. Two rotating prisms expand aerial looks and multiply patterns for high-impact beams.
Reliability and rigging flexibility
A patented lens defogger helps maintain optical performance in changing temperatures and humidity. The housing uses a steel and aluminum frame with molded plastic covers, and it supports mounting in any orientation. With 540° pan and 265° tilt, plus a maximum pan/tilt speed of 360° in 2.65 s and 180° in 1.58 s, it is well-suited to fast, precise cues. The fixture is rated IP20 for indoor use.
