The DiGiCo Quantum112 Digital Mixing Console is a compact, flight-ready live sound mixing console designed for touring, fly dates, broadcast, and tight FOH/monitor positions where you still need full Quantum power and workflow. Built to fit within a rugged Pelican Air 1637 case, the console, when packed, weighs only 23 kilograms – a perfect 50 pounds – qualifying it as a standard checked bag option on most flights.

Despite its ultra-compact form factor, the Quantum112 is still a giant on features and functionality, every bit a Quantum in terms of its pedigree. The surface combines a bright, fast-to-navigate control layout with tactile mixing control, making it well suited for quick changeovers and engineers who need speed and consistency from show to show.

Mixing engine, buses, and processing

Based on the newest seventh-generation FPGAs, DiGiCo’s latest product offers 80 input channels (mono) with 24 aux/subgroup busses, LR/LCR master busses, and a 12×8 matrix, all with full channel processing. 12 control groups plus two solos are also available, supporting efficient VCA-style control and streamlined monitoring during complex productions.

For tonal shaping and dynamics, the Quantum112 includes 12 x 32-band graphic EQ, 6 internal FX, 6 internal Spice Rack slots, 20 Mustard processing strips, and 24 nodal processing 4 band parametric EQ / dynamic EQ, giving you flexible, console-side processing without relying on external outboard for many common live workflows.

Surface, displays, and hands-on control

Sporting a 17-inch, 1000-nit, high-brightness multitouch screen with both a meterbridge and soft quick select buttons for speedy and intuitive operation, the Quantum112 is additionally equipped with 18 individual TFT channel displays to provide clear user feedback and interaction. Beneath the main display are a dozen newly-sourced 100mm touch-sensitive faders, selected for their smooth movement and precision control.

I/O, connectivity, and redundancy

For system integration, the Quantum112 provides Stadius 32-bit local I/O, up to 4 MADI interfaces or up to 2 redundant MADI interfaces at 48kHz or 2 interfaces at 96kHz, and 2 x DMI slots (up to 64 I/O per slot) for flexible format expansion. Redundancy is supported via internal PSUs x 2, and external control/trigger options include GPI: 2 jack (2 inputs) and GPO: 2 GPO jack (2 outputs).

Audio performance details include sample rate: 48kHz or 96kHz, internal processing up to 40-bit floating point, A>D & D>A 32-bit converter bit depth, frequency response +/- 0.2dB (20Hz – 20kHz), and processing delay: 0.5ms typical (Mic in to Line out, no channel Processing).
