NEW Kino Flo FreeStyle Air LED Panel

The NEW Kino Flo FreeStyle Air LED Panel is a lightweight, thin-profile LED panel designed for fast deployment on set and seamless integration into existing FreeStyle workflows. Compatible with FreeStyle mounts, extension cables and LED-140 & LED-150 Series controllers, it delivers Kino Flo’s renowned Color Science LED technology in a portable form factor with favorable cost of ownership for current FreeStyle owners and operators.

Built for fast rigging and everyday handling

In addition to a twist-on mount for light stands and corner bumpers for 4-point hangs, the FreeStyle Air includes eyelets to simplify overhead mounting and other surface attachment. Its rigid construction prevents flex during handling, helping protect internal components during frequent moves between setups.

Stable output with efficient passive cooling

Usable LED life is extended with a proven passively-cooled design that helps keep color and luminosity stable over the rated life of the LEDs. The light is designed for flicker-free, quiet operation, making it suitable for interviews, narrative work, and high-frame-rate capture where consistency matters.

Color control for matching practicals and camera looks

High color quality is supported by TLCI >96, CRI >96, and TM-30-18 Rf=95, Rg=103. In use, this helps render skin tones and wardrobe colors reliably while maintaining consistency across dimming. The FreeStyle Air provides Kelvin presets and dial-in color temperature control from 2500K-9900K, plus Green/Magenta control for fine-tuning to ambient sources. Hue angle and saturation adjustments, Kino Flo presets and gels, RGB control, CIE xy, FX control, camera profiles LUTs, and color space options support a wide range of creative and matching tasks. Light levels do not change when selecting Kelvin settings, and there is no color shift while dimming.

Control and power options that fit professional systems

The FreeStyle Air supports full-range onboard and DMX dimming, including DMX wireless link (Lumen Radio), and DMX Auto Terminate. Firmware is updatable from a PC using the Mini B USB data port. Power is flexible with universal input 100VAC-240VAC or 24VDC, and it is energy efficient, drawing 1.25A at 120VAC and 6.25A at 24VDC.

Serviceable design for long-term ownership

Ease of maintenance is built into a user serviceable design. It features a removable upper rail and quick access to pull-out LED platens that are easily replaced or repaired.
