The NEW AAdynTech JAB Hurricane, Kit 2 is a weatherproof, daylight-balanced LED fixture built for productions that need high output with minimal power draw, on location or in the studio. Delivering 2,360 foot-candles at 10 feet while consuming only 1.77 amps at full power, it is a practical choice for remote shoots, small power drops, and environments where reliable performance matters.

High Output, Low Power for Location Work

The JAB Hurricane is designed to perform when power is limited. It can run from auto-ranging 90 to 240 VAC (50/60 Hz) and can also be operated via 28.8V DC battery power for hours with a battery source, making it well-suited to mobile rigs, field production, and temporary setups.

IP65 Weatherproof Design for Demanding Environments

With an IP65 rating, the Hurricane is protected from dust and water from any direction, helping crews keep moving in unpredictable outdoor conditions. It also operates across a wide temperature range of -20°C to +50°C, supporting cold-weather and hot-weather shooting days.

Silent, Cool Operation with Flicker-Free Performance

Fan-less convection cooling provides silent operation, and the fixture runs cool to the touch with no heat generation. For high-speed capture, the Hurricane is flicker-free up to 12,000 fps, and its high optical efficiency provides a single light-source to help eliminate multiple shadows while maintaining a flat, even illumination field.

Beam Control and On-Set Workflow

Quick-change lenses vary the beam angle between spot, medium, and flood while maintaining an even field, and the included barndoor supports fast shaping and spill control. Precise brightness control includes variable dimming curve options, plus a momentary-off Douse button for quick takes and resets.

Control Options and Compliance

Local onboard control and DMX with loop-thru (5-pin XLR DMX In/Out) support integration into professional lighting workflows. Programmable multiple lightning and strobe effects (with UIM) and multiple user memory storage with recall (with UIM) help speed repeatable setups. The JAB Hurricane is certified UL, ETL, CSA, CE, and RoHS compliant, and produces no UV or IR emissions on talent.
