NEW AAdynTech JAB Daylight Cinema, Kit 3

The NEW AAdynTech JAB Daylight Cinema, Kit 3 is a 5600K daylight-balanced LED fixture kit designed for broadcast ENG field production, fixed studio installations, live sports coverage, video shoots, and film work. Built around the JAB Daylight Cinema with a built-in UIM digital controller, it pairs high-CRI performance with a compact, travel-friendly footprint for crews that need consistent daylight output on location or in the studio.

With 92+ CRI across the entire brightness range, the fixture is engineered to keep color stable as you dim, helping skin tones and wardrobe stay consistent from take to take. Its single light source design helps reduce the multi-shadow look common with multi-emitter fixtures, while cool operation means it stays comfortable to work around during long shoots.

Output and beam control

The JAB Daylight Cinema delivers an output of better than 1,508 foot-candles at 10 ft., giving you the headroom to push through diffusion, shape the beam, or work at longer throw distances when needed. Included diffuser lenses (5, 15, 30, and 55 degrees) provide practical beam-angle options, from a tighter, more directed punch to a wider spread for general key or fill.

Power efficiency for studio and location

At full brightness the fixture draws only 1.77 amps, and supports auto-ranging power from 100/277 VAC, 50/60Hz for easy deployment across standard power environments. For productions where mains power is limited or unavailable, the light can also be operated on 28.8V DC battery power.

Control, metering, and effects

Precise brightness control is supported with no color shift, along with a momentary-off douse button for quick on-set blackouts. The fixture includes a recalibration countdown hour “smart” meter to help track usage over time. For integration into console-based lighting workflows, it offers full DMX control with DMX loop-thru and 5-pin XLR DMX in/out, plus programmable lightning and strobe effects and multiple user memory storage with recall.

Built for real-world production conditions

Designed to operate from -20C to +50C, the system avoids the hassles of head cables, ballasts, or spare lamps typical of legacy lighting approaches. The kit is certified UL, ETL, CSA, CE, and is RoHS compliant.
