NEW AAdynTech JAB Variable Cinema

The AAdynTech JAB Variable Cinema is a high-output, adjustable color temperature cinema light designed for film and broadcast environments where fast setup, consistent color, and efficient power draw matter. It offers a 3,000°K to 6,000°K range and develops an output of 1,414 fc @ 10 feet, making it a practical choice for key, fill, and punchy accent lighting when you need to match tungsten to daylight quickly without swapping fixtures.

Variable Color, Consistent Control

Dial in color temperature from 3000K to 6000K with an accurate readout on the UIM, then fine-tune output with precise brightness control designed to maintain color consistency. A single light source helps minimize the multiple-shadow effect you can see with multi-emitter setups, which is especially useful for interviews, product work, and controlled narrative lighting.

Efficient Power for Studio or Location

The JAB Variable Cinema draws only 1.78 amp at full output and supports auto-ranging power from 100 to 277 VAC (50/60Hz). For remote shoots or tight power situations, it can also be operated at 28.8V DC battery power when conventional A/C supply is problematic or non-existent. The fixture generates no heat or harmful UV or IR emissions, operates cool to the touch, and provides instant ON with no warm-up wait time on set.

Beam Shaping and On-Set Workflow Features

Included diffuser lenses (5°, 15°, 30°, and 55°) let you vary beam angle for anything from a tight, long-throw highlight to a wider wash. A momentary-off Douse button supports quick takes and resets without powering down the fixture. A recalibration countdown hour smart meter helps track use over time, and an optional corded digital User Interface Module (UIM) is available for control where a tethered interface is preferred.

DMX Integration and Effects

Built for rigging into professional control systems, the light provides full DMX control with loop-thru via 5-pin XLR DMX In/Out. It also supports programmable lightning and strobe effects, plus multiple user memories for fast recall of common looks and intensities.

Designed as a self-contained fixture, the JAB Variable Cinema requires no ballast, head cables, or spare lamps. It is rated for operation from -20°C to +50°C and is UL, ETL, CSA, CE, and RoHS compliant for added confidence in studio, stage, and location environments.
