The Arri M18 1800W HMI combines ARRI MAX Technology, True Blue features and an 1800W lamp to deliver high-output daylight illumination in a compact fixture size. Designed to be powered from most domestic sockets, the M18 is built for location and studio workflows where you need strong, controllable daylight with efficient power requirements.

High Output, Compact Fixture

As small as a 1200W PAR lamphead but with 70% higher light output, the M18 is a practical step up when you want more punch without moving to a larger, higher-power head. The lens-less MAX Technology is designed to keep the fixture straightforward to set up and operate while maintaining a professional beam that can be shaped and controlled on set.

Adjustable Beam Control

Adjustable from 20 degrees to 60 degrees beam angle, the M18 can shift from a tighter, longer-throw beam to a wider spread for broad coverage. With a correlated color temperature of 6000 K, it is well suited for daylight-balanced work and for matching or competing with ambient daylight.

Power, Dimming, and Compatibility

The M18 runs from most domestic sockets world-wide, with a 100V to 140V voltage range. Dimmability is supported from 50% to 100% via an ARRI Ballast Unit, giving you a controlled adjustment range for balancing exposure while maintaining an HMI daylight look. It uses existing 575/1200/1800W cables and can also be used with 1200W lamps and ballasts, helping integrate the head into established lighting packages.

Built for Set Use

Cross Cooling allows safe operation at any tilt angle, and the fixture is rated to IP 23 protection class. Lamp base is G38. Dimensions are 344 x 311 x 458 mm (W x L x H), and weight is approximately 11 kg / 24 lbs.
