Elation Artiste Picasso

These Elation Artiste Picasso LED moving lights show signs of wear but are in good working condition.

The Elation Artiste Picasso is a full-featured, theatrical-grade framing profile luminaire built for tours, theaters, houses of worship, and broadcast environments that demand precise beam control and high output. Its 620W 6,800K cool white LED engine and advanced optics deliver over 23,000 total lumens, with a fast 7° to 55° motorized zoom that quickly shifts from tight aerial looks to wide stage coverage.

Color, CRI, and Consistent White Light Control

A full CMY color mixing system produces a wide spectrum of shades from subtle pastels to rich saturated colors, while linear CTO color correction helps match warmer tungsten looks or balance mixed lighting rigs. The fixture includes 6 dichroic colors, including a high 87 CRI filter for applications where more accurate skin tones and camera-friendly color are important.

Gobos, Animation, and Beam-Shaping Effects

For texture and projection, the Artiste Picasso includes 7 rotating/indexing glass gobos and 7 static-stamped metal interchangeable gobos. A full 360° bi-directional animation wheel supports dynamic movement effects, complemented by both 4-facet and linear rotating prisms, plus 2 frost filters for softening and diffusion. Internal color, framing, prism, and frost macros streamline programming when you need repeatable looks across scenes.

Framing, Focus, and Precision Movement

Four rotating full blackout framing blades provide sharp, controllable shutter cuts, with +/- 45° individual blade rotation for accurate alignment to scenic elements and set pieces. Motorized focus and an auto-focus feature help keep patterns crisp across varying throw distances. The fixture also includes a motorized iris with variable pulse effects, along with 16-bit pan, tilt, and dimming control and variable dimming curve modes for smoother fades and more refined cueing.

DMX, Network Control, and Broadcast-Friendly Operation

Control is flexible with DMX, RDM (Remote Device Management), Art-NET, and sACN protocol support, plus Elation’s E-FLY internal wireless DMX transceiver for installations where running data cable is difficult. A high speed electronic shutter and strobe expand timing options, and adjustable LED refresh rate frequency and gamma brightness enable flicker free operation for TV and FILM. Silent fan mode supports noise-sensitive applications, and the unit is designed for low heat, quiet operation with hibernation mode (power save).

Physical Specs and On-Fixture Usability

Locking 5pin XLR DMX, RJ45 ethernet, and power connections support reliable touring and permanent installs. A full color 180° reversible LCD control panel and battery backup for display power simplify setup and servicing. The multi-voltage universal auto switching power supply (100-240v) supports operation across common power standards. Dimensions are 18.0 in (457mm) length, 21.5 in (544.5mm) width, and 29.8 in (757.5mm) vertical height, with a weight of 84.0 lb (38.1kg).
