The DiGiCo SD9 Console is built for professional live sound and touring workflows where a 96-channel digital mixing surface, compact footprint, and fast show control matter. Each SD9 features 24 physical faders and a 15” high-resolution touchscreen, bringing SDRange performance and navigation into a smaller, production-friendly format.

Mixing Power and Bus Structure

The SD9 provides 96 input channels with full processing, plus 48 aux/sub-group busses and a 12 x 8 matrix, each with full processing. This bus architecture supports monitor-heavy shows, broadcast/record feeds, and complex system drive requirements without constantly repatching or compromising workflow.

Channel Processing and Control

On every channel, you have practical tools for gain staging and problem-solving, including Main and Alternative Input, Analogue Gain, Phase Inversion Control, Gain Tracking, Digital Trim (-40dB to +40dB), and Variable Delay (0ms to 1.3s). For shaping and dynamics, the console includes DiGiTube, HPF/LPF (-24dB/Oct), 4 Band Parametric EQ / Dynamic EQ, plus two dynamics sections: DYN 1 (Compressor, Multiband Compressor, Desser) and DYN 2 (Gate, Duck, External Input Compressor). EQ/Dyn Order Control, 1 Insert Point per Channel, Channel Mute & Hard Mute, and Channel Direct Outputs help streamline both FOH and monitor workflows.

Show Workflow and Redundancy Options

For repeatable results and fast changeovers, the SD9 supports snapshots for changing many parameters at once, assignable channel layout, and user-programmable macros. The console is also capable of redundantly mirroring with another SD9 console, with optional redundant PSUs, making it suitable for mission-critical production environments. Offline software and iPad control support advance prep and on-the-floor adjustment during rehearsals and shows.
