The Ayrton MagicPanel 602 is a modular RGBW LED moving-head luminaire built for pixel-mapped looks and high-impact visual effects in concerts, touring rigs, and broadcast-friendly productions. Equipped with continuous, unlimited PAN & TILT rotation, it delivers fluid motion effects and flexible positioning, while integrated 4G Ayrton technology provides individual control of each LED source in expanded FULL COLOR mode (RGBW). Extensive connectivity supports control by DMX-RDM, Art-Net, or through the LUMEN RADIO DMX-RDM wireless connection.

Optics and Output

Built around a high-efficiency 45 mm PMMA optic (flicker free for TV applications and all video recorded events), the MagicPanel 602 produces a uniform beam with no color shadows for clean camera results and consistent on-stage color. It features an optic efficiency of 85%, a 7.5° beam aperture, and an output of up to 14,000 lumens with a luminous intensity of 650,000 cd. The light engine uses 36 multi-chip 15 W LED modules, rated for up to 50,000 hours.

Movement, Control, and Pixel Effects

Continuous PAN and TILT rotation is paired with high-resolution stepper motors controlled by microprocessors for extremely accurate positioning and smooth movements, with PAN and TILT automatic repositioning. The moving head can be operated via either 8- or 16-bit resolution for precise cueing.

Color mixing is handled by a sophisticated 4-color RGBW system, reaching high Color Rendering Index, with rich saturated and pastel color-hues. You also get 4.29 billion colors (8-bit resolution), a virtual color wheel with common white color temperature presets, plus dynamic color macro effects with variable speed.

Connectivity and Integration

The MagicPanel 602 supports DMX 512 protocol through DMX cable or wireless system, is DMX-RDM compatible, and includes an integrated LumenRadio CRMX RDM receiver for streamlined wireless DMX deployment. It also offers stand-alone mode and Master/Slave modes, a local control panel with LCD display and 6 buttons, DMX 512 input/output via XLR5 connectors, and ArtNet protocol through RJ45 connectors. Choose from 3 DMX modes ranging from 18 to 160 DMX channels to match simple setups or full pixel-level control.
