PROLIGHTS Pixie WashXB is a compact moving LED wash light designed for theatres, TV studios, corporate events, and festivals that need a traditional wash-luminaire look without the multi-cell appearance. The large plano-convex front lens delivers a bright, clean beam and an exceptional 1:8 motorized zoom range, while a proprietary 280W RGB + warm white LED module supports accurate, tunable whites and refined color mixing.

High-Quality White Light and Precise Color Control

Built for applications where skin tones and set lighting matter, Pixie WashXB provides high-quality white reproduction with strong color-rendering performance (CRI up to 96, with high R9 values for saturated reds). CCT control includes plus/minus green correction for camera matching, tungsten emulation for warm stage looks, and white presets from 2,800 K to 8,000 K. A virtual color wheel with macros, including adjustable-speed effects and a linear crossfade channel from any white to any color, makes it fast to dial in looks without building every cue from scratch.

Optics, Output, and Zoom Flexibility

The high-quality glass optics and 125 mm lens support a 7.6° to 43° linear motorized zoom for everything from tight, punchy beams to wide stage washes. Output is rated at 2,888 lm at 7.6° and 3,038 lm at 43° (full), with measured illuminance of 6,631 lx (7.6°) and 532 lx (43°) at 5 m (full). This wide zoom range helps reduce fixture count because the same unit can shift between focused accents and broad coverage as venues and trim heights change.

Quiet Operation, Smooth Dimming, and Camera-Friendly Performance

A heat-pipe cooling system with a low-noise fan is designed to keep operation unobtrusive in quiet environments. The electronic dimmer offers smooth 0 to 100% control with selectable curves, and the shutter supports 1 to 30 Hz strobe. Flicker-free LED control with adjustable PWM helps optimize performance for broadcast and high-speed camera work.

Movement, Rigging, and Touring-Ready Build

Fast, precise movement includes 540° pan and 250° tilt with 8/16-bit resolution and automatic repositioning feedback after accidental movement. The aluminum die-cast body keeps the unit robust while remaining manageable at 13.6 kg, and quick-lock Omega bracket sockets support flexible hanging in any position.

DMX, RDM, Art-Net, and Wireless Control

Pixie WashXB supports DMX512 and RDM for remote monitoring and settings, plus Art-Net for networked lighting workflows. Multiple DMX modes (13/15/16/18/22/23/27 channels) make it easy to choose between streamlined control and deeper parameter access. A wireless solution receiver is included for wireless control options, and connections include 5-pin XLR in/out and Art-Net RJ45 in/out.

Power and System Integration

The universal 100 to 240 V, 50/60 Hz power supply simplifies deployment across venues. Max power consumption is 240 W with a power factor greater than 0.95, and at 230 V up to 8 units can run on a single power line. The fixture is rated IP20 for indoor use and operates from -10° to +45°C.
