Show Authoring and Playback Made Practical
Designed to reduce setup time on DMX installations, the Color Kinetics iPlayer 3 includes factory preset shows, supports custom show-authoring, and provides an intuitive LCD interface for day-to-day operation. Removable SD card storage makes it easier to manage and move show files, while onboard light addressing helps streamline commissioning.
DMX Output and System Capacity
iPlayer 3 includes two DMX output ports for control of two DMX universes, each supporting a full universe of 512 DMX channels. This makes it well suited for architectural and entertainment-style LED projects that need reliable, standalone playback across larger channel counts.
Optional Control and Expansion
iPlayer 3 is designed for use with the optional Controller Keypad (not included), a wall-mounted user interface that provides instant pushbutton playback of up to eight light shows. It also supports the optional AuxBox expansion device (not included), which can automatically trigger up to eight iPlayer 3 light shows from any remote triggering device with a dry-contact closure, including motion sensors and third party control or sensor systems.
Automation and Scheduling
For unattended operation, iPlayer 3 can automate show playback using alarms based on a specific date, day of the week, weekdays, weekends, or astronomical events such as sunrise or sunset.
Installation Environment and Compliance
Rated for dry locations (IP20). Regulatory listings include UL/cUL, FCC Class B, CE, and C-Tick.
