For locations with limited power, the Hurricane Jr. draws only 0.85 amps on AC and supports 90 to 240 VAC input. It can also run for hours on 24 to 32 VDC (28.8 VDC nominal) battery power, helping keep small crews mobile without sacrificing usable output.
Beam Control and Color Stability
The Hurricane Jr. can be configured as a hard light with significant throw, or shaped into a softer, wider source using the included lenses (5°, 15°, 30°, and 55°) and barn doors. The beam is designed to remain smooth and even, with 5600K daylight color temperature. Dimming ranges from 0% to 100% with no change in color temperature, and the fixture produces no measurable UV or IR emissions.
Manual or DMX Workflow Integration
Brightness can be adjusted manually or integrated into a control setup via 5-pin DMX in/out using the included adapters, making the Hurricane Jr. easy to deploy for single-operator shoots or multi-light rigs.
