The programming interface remains familiar, and the ergonomics of Road Hog’s compact chassis are unparalleled, while the shared HOG software environment lets the user transition across the whole range without sacrificing work flow.
Programming Workflow and Control Surface
Programmers will love the 22-inch, high resolution multi-touch display with 10-point touch, giving you room for customized screen layouts and fast access to palettes, cue lists, and busking tools. For expanded screen real estate, one additional video output supports an external DVI-I monitor/touchscreen.
Hands-on control is built in with 10 manual playback faders, four expanded-wheelset encoders for precise parameter adjustment, and 12 user-assignable function keys for quick shortcuts. Unlimited simultaneous crossfades support complex cueing and smooth transitions during performance.
Networking and Output
Four on-board DMX universes drive the rig directly, and two gigabit Ethernet ports are provided for Art-Net, sACN, and console networking. Dedicated Hog-Net and Fixture-Net connectors integrate cleanly into Hog 4 system workflows, making it straightforward to network with compatible Hog 4 devices and expand your control infrastructure.
