The Soundcraft Mini Stagebox 32i is a compact remote I/O expansion stagebox designed to expand the input and output capabilities of Soundcraft Vi and Si series consoles, whether you need the additional I/O at the console position or out on stage. With a 3U rack-mount footprint, it delivers 32 recallable mic/line inputs and 12 balanced line outputs, using the same console-family design approach for a familiar workflow.
Connectivity and Console Integration
The Mini Stagebox 32i connects to a host console using RJ45/CAT5, supporting up to 100 m (328 ft) runs between the stage and the mixing position for cleaner setups and fewer analog multi-core cables. Using two cables to a single console offers redundant MADI capability when the mode switch is set to "RED".
Audio can also be supplied to two different consoles by using the Main and Aux connections simultaneously. In this instance, one console should be nominated to have control of the mic input gains and phantom power. Set the switch to Main or Aux according to which console you have selected to have control.
