The ARRI Orbiter Kit is a versatile, tuneable, and directional LED fixture built for professional image capture. This kit includes the Orbiter head with yoke, removable control panel and cabling, barn doors, and multiple optics and cases, so you can move quickly between tight, punchy beams and broader, open-face coverage on set.

Color Accuracy and Control for Film and Broadcast

Orbiter’s ARRI Spectra six-color light engine delivers a wide color gamut and outstanding color rendition across a broad range of looks, from calibrated white light 2,000 K to 20,000 K to saturated color. High color metrics (CRI average > 98, TLCI average > 95, TM-30 average > 94) help maintain natural skin tones and consistent reproduction across cameras and mixed-light environments. Green-magenta adjustment is continuously variable from Full Minusgreen to Full Plusgreen for cleaner matches to practicals, other fixtures, and ambient sources.

Changeable Optics for a Directional LED Workflow

With its changeable optics, Orbiter can transform into many different types of lamphead, including Beam, Open Face, Fresnel, Projection, soft light, and many more. The included Fresnel optic (15-65°) supports rapid beam shaping for key, fill, or accent work, while the open-face optics provide additional spread options for wash, bounce, or closer placement. Barn doors offer fast spill control and edge shaping for set-friendly flagging.

LiOS Software, Dimming, and On-Set Practicality

Orbiter’s state-of-the-art technology and Lighting Operating software (LiOS) support modern control needs with user-programmable quick buttons and multiple color modes (CCT, HSI, individual color, gel selection, x/y coordinates, source matching, lighting effects, and color sensor mode). Dimming is smooth from 100% to 0% with selectable curves (linear, exponential, logarithmic, and “S” curve), helping you fade naturally on camera and dial in output precisely.

Power, Rigging, and Connectivity

Designed for robust set use, Orbiter features an internal power supply, a 100 to 240 V~, 50 to 60 Hz input range, and powerCON TRUE1 TOP mains connection. It also supports battery input via 3-pin XLR (48 to 52 V DC). The fixture mounts via a 28 mm spigot (Junior Pin) and uses an aluminum yoke with quick release and high-strength tilt lock, with +/-90° tilt in dry locations (+75° / -90° in wet location with rain cover). IP rating is IP20 without Rain Cover and IP24 with Rain Cover L2.0037805.
