The Avitech Rainier 4U1V Multiviewer is a compact multiviewer designed to process HD/SD-SDI and CVBS video sources for confident monitoring in broadcast, production, and technical environments. The Rainier essentials focus on practical multiviewing for day-to-day workflows, supporting common HD formats and legacy SD/analog signals when you need to keep multiple feeds visible at once.

Video & Display I/O for Mixed-Signal Workflows

Inputs include 4 x BNC with automatic sensing of HD-SDI/SD-SDI and CVBS, plus 1 x DVI-I with automatic detection (up to 1920×1200 (WUXGA) @ 50/60 Hz). This makes it well-suited for monitoring multiple camera feeds, router outputs, playback sources, or legacy composite signals alongside DVI-based display workflows.

For integrated control and system expansion, the unit includes Audio Cascade connections for embedded HD/SD-SDI audio (input and output), a GPI interface via RJ-50 (up to 8 inputs), and multiple control paths: RS-232/Keypad (via keypad converter Y-cable), RJ-45 Ethernet, and 2 x RS-485 for cascade input/output.
