Locked-Down, Show-Ready Workflow

This ETC-provided and supported mini-computer is locked down, so no software other than ETC applications can be installed, giving you peace of mind that your device is safe, secure and used only for your shows. This helps keep a dedicated programming environment for rehearsals, performances, and day-to-day venue operation.

Connectivity and Ports

A small but powerful control device, Puck has one HDMI video port (DVI adapters can be used if needed), one Mini Display Port (Mini DP to HDMI adaptor included), one network port and four USB ports. This is a Windows 7 unit; as such, multi-touch displays are supported.

Network Protocols and System Compatibility

Supported protocols include Net3/ACN/sACN and ArtNet for integrating into modern networked lighting systems (note that Net2 protocol is not supported). For expanding output and system I/O, it works with DMX/RDM Gateways (Net3), Show Control Gateway, and I/O Gateway. It also supports Eos Programming Wing, Eos Motorized Fader Wing 10 or 20, and Eos Fader Wing 20 or 40 for hands-on control.

For local DMX/RDM needs, the system is compatible with the ETC Gadget II USB-to-DMX/RDM converter (up to four may be connected for a total of four local outputs). It also supports iRFR, iRFR Preview and aRFR, ETCpad (ETC Portable Access Device), and third-party USB-MIDI panels via Direct MIDI.
