Without the need to change lenses, the VL4000 BEAMWASH combines stunning wash capabilities with intense beam functionality and the ability to produce a powerful collimated shaft of light. When used in wash mode, the luminaire provides a 10 to 60 degree zoom range for coverage across stage widths and cyc washes. By simply adjusting a DMX value, the VL4000 BEAMWASH can shift to an intense beam luminaire with an amazing 4 to 40 degree beam angle for punchy mid-air looks, or a Shaft fixture for a powerful, collimated ray of light where the 4 degree beam angle can be further reduced to near zero.

Color, Image Projection, and Motion Effects

For programming flexibility, the fixture includes dual opposing color wheels and an infinity CMY cross fading system, plus variable CTO color temperature correction for dialing in warmer tones or matching other fixtures and camera environments. Image projection is sharper than standard beam fixtures, supported by two gobo wheels with seven rotatable, indexable positions plus open, and one animation wheel with a rotating, indexable pattern and variable motion control for textured looks on haze, scenery, or cyc surfaces.

Beam Shaping and Aerial Enhancements

For layered aerial effects, the VL4000 BEAMWASH includes a 5 facet step prism, beam and shaft mode indexing and rotating lenticular effect, and wash mode indexing and rotating beam shaping. These tools help create dynamic movement and visual depth, whether you are building crisp, geometric looks or softer, sweeping transitions.
