The Yamaha TF1 Digital Mixing Console is a compact, rack-mountable digital mixer built for live sound, installed AV, houses of worship, and mobile production where you need fast, confident control in a small footprint. Its TouchFlow Operation interface is optimized for touch-panel control, and the 16 + 1 fader layout provides familiar hands-on mixing for day-to-day shows.

TouchFlow Mixing Workflow

The TF1 combines a touch-driven interface with traditional channel control views, including Overview and Selected Channel screens for quick navigation. “SENDS ON FADER” buttons let you bring aux or FX bus levels onto the faders for fast monitor and effects adjustments, while “DCA Roll-out” and 8 DCA groups improve control of larger sessions by grouping channels without changing routing.

Inputs, Outputs, and Flexible Routing

Designed to handle multi-mic stages and playback sources, the TF1 provides 32 mono input channels, 2 stereo input channels, and 2 return channels. Local I/O includes 16 mic/line inputs plus 2 stereo line inputs, with 16 outputs for feeding mains, monitors, fills, and recording sends. For mixing and distribution, you get 20 Aux busses (8 mono, 6 stereo), Stereo, Sub, and 4 matrix outputs to support monitor mixes, zones, and system tuning workflows.

Sound Tools for Fast, Repeatable Results

Recallable “D-PRE” microphone preamps provide a solid sonic foundation, and Yamaha’s “1-knob COMP” and 1-knob EQ help you quickly shape dynamics and tone when time is tight. “QuickPro Presets” offer starting points for common sources, and GainFinder supports more precise gain setup during soundcheck.

Recording, Remote Control, and Expansion

For capture and playback, the TF1 supports direct 2-track recording to USB storage devices, and multitrack recording to a DAW via USB. Multitrack recordings can also be used for “virtual sound checks” when performers aren’t available. Remote control and offline editing are available via an Apple iPad or other computing device. An expansion slot supports an optional NY64-D audio interface card when you need additional connectivity.
