Arri Arrisun 40/25 2500-4000W HMI Par Kit

The ARRI Arrisun 40/25 2500-4000W HMI Par Kit is a high-output HMI PAR head and ballast package built for location lighting when you need punch, long throw, or a controllable source for bounce and book-light setups. With its parabolic reflector system and interchangeable converter (spread) lenses, it is designed to deliver an efficient beam with smooth, even coverage and reliable control across a wide range of on-set scenarios.

Please note a lamp is not included. These fixtures show signs of heavy wear but are in good working condition.

Optics and Beam Control for Location Work

ARRISUN HMI PARs are the workhorses of location lighting whenever punch or bounce light is required on set. The precise interaction of lamp, reflector and converter (spread) lens was designed with computer simulation for ultimate performance. A wide range of converter (spread) lenses ensures maximum beam control in all situations. In practice, this lens-based approach makes it easy to shape the fixture for a tighter, more directional beam, or open it up for broader coverage while maintaining a clean, even field.

Dual-Lamp Compatibility (2.5K or 4K)

Dual lamping: Can be fitted with a 2500 or 4000 watt single-ended HMI lamp, making it a very versatile lighting fixture. The wattage from the HMI lamp in the head and the wattage from the ballast must match (for example 2500-to-2500, or 4000-to-4000.) This allows crews to scale output to the scene while keeping the same fixture style and beam-control workflow.

Build, Serviceability, and Practical Details

The Arrisun 40/25 uses highly efficient parabolic reflectors and corrosion-resistant aluminum construction for durability in demanding environments. Extremely even light distribution helps when pushing light through diffusion, bouncing off solids, or lighting larger areas without hot spots. Lamp focus adjustment and easy service access support fast setup and maintenance on set.
