Offering a classic retro look with its radial diffusers, TurboRay brings a distinctive appearance to any lighting rig. Used as a punchy narrow-angle washlight or as a powerful hard edge beam that produces beautiful aerial and other effects, the fixture is truly versatile. TurboRay’s soft edges, homogenized color and smooth intensity fall off make for a spectacular wash.
In the air or projected on a surface, the custom animated gobo wheel and LED imaging can add movement and texture, turning clean beams into layered aerial looks or scenic projections. With quadrant control over the fixture’s four LED system and pixel-level LED control, you can build dynamic chases, split looks, and graphic accents that read clearly on stage and camera.
Color, Optics, and Beam Control
The additive RGBW color mixing system delivers saturated colors and tunable whites, with linear CTO for dialing in warmer tones. A dedicated color wheel extends the palette with deeper saturates and striking split colors. TurboRay covers a wide range of applications, from a 3° narrow beam for dramatic aerial work to an 8–24° wash with a punchy 3:1 zoom, plus a radial diffuser option for a distinctive scenic look.
Rigging and Movement
With 540° pan and 239° tilt, TurboRay supports fast, precise positioning for concerts, corporate events, and theatrical rigs. The fixture’s patent pending optical design and TurboRay “Hazefree” lens coating technology are part of the original design intent, helping maintain output and beam quality in demanding show environments.
