With the ETC Source Four Zoom, you can cover a range of beam spreads from 15-30 degrees with a single ellipsoidal fixture, making it a practical choice for venues and rental inventories that need flexibility between tighter specials and wider area coverage. ETC's patented one-handed zoom operation helps technicians make fast adjustments while keeping a secure hand on the ladder. The lens-tube door provides quick, tool-free access when you want to clean the lens assembly.

Source Four Zoom keeps the same core advantages that made Source Four fixtures a standard in stage and studio lighting, including a bright, even field, efficient output, and crisp optics for clean imaging and field quality. The patented dichroic mirror helps keep shutters and accessories cooler during operation, and drop-in accessories are interchangeable with fixed-focus Source Fours, which helps maintain compatibility across existing rigs.

Zoom Control and Focus Handling

The focus system includes a positive lock and easy-to-read scale markings for field-angle and focus settings, helpful for repeatable setups and consistent refocus between shows. A thermally insulated rear handle and high-impact, thermally insulated knobs and shutter handles support safer handling during focusing and adjustment.

Shutter, Pattern, and Accessory Support

For shaping and texture, the rotating shutter assembly offers ±25° rotation, and the fixture uses 20-gauge stainless steel shutters in a tri-plane assembly for reliable beam control. An integral die-cast color-frame holder includes two accessory slots and a top-mounted color-frame retainer. The unit also provides a slot for glass or stainless steel patterns, plus a wide accessory slot with a sliding cover for motorized pattern devices or an optional iris.

Build and Mounting

Built with rugged, die-cast and extruded aluminum construction, the fixture uses a steel yoke with two mounting positions and a positive locking double-clutch yoke to keep focus locked in. Rated up to 750W, it is supplied with a C-clamp, a color frame, and a slot for either a drop-in iris or a motorized pattern device. Three-foot, three-wire Teflon leads encased in black fiberglass tubing with bare leads are shipped as standard.
