Description
The MA Lighting grandMA2 Light - 8GB is a professional lighting control console built to run conventional fixtures, moving lights, LEDs, and integrated video or media systems from a single programming surface. Designed for fast, hands-on playback and cueing, it supports extensive show files with large numbers of presets, cues, pages, sequences, and effects, making it a strong fit for touring, theater, broadcast, and install environments. It is also ideally suited as a backup device for the grandMA2 full-size.

Control Capacity and System Integration
The grandMA2 light provides real-time control for up to 65,536 parameters per session when used in connection with an MA NPU (equivalent to 256 DMX universes). For standalone operation and straightforward rigs, it offers 4,096 HTP-/LTP parameters and includes 6 DMX outputs for direct fixture connectivity.
Hands-On Programming and Playback
For programmers who need quick access to playback and precise live control, the surface includes 15 motorized executor faders, 2 motorized A/B faders (100mm), and individually backlit, dimmable, silent (clickless) keys. A built-in keyboard drawer helps speed up command entry and show editing during rehearsals or live operation.
Displays, Connectivity, and Touring-Friendly Hardware
The console features two internal TFT wide mode touchscreens (15.4" WXGA) plus one internal multi-touch command screen (9" SVGA)* for layout, selection, and on-the-fly editing. If you prefer a larger workspace, two external TFT screens can be connected (UXGA, touchscreens accepted). For networking and peripherals, it includes 2 Ethercon connectors and 5 USB 2.0 connectors. A built-in uninterruptible power supply (UPS) adds protection against brief power interruptions, and the motorized monitor wing supports flexible screen positioning in a compact FOH footprint.
