NEW Chauvet Professional COLORado Solo Bar 4

COLORado Solo Bar 4 is a 16-cell IP65-rated RGBwWL LED batten designed for touring, festivals, broadcast, film, and theatrical use where you need durable, pixel-capable output and reliable white light. It produces a full range of color and perfect whites from a fixture offering LDs the flexibility to easily create beautiful whites with RGBwW or take control of all five colors in the full RGBwWL array.

COLORado Solo Bar 4 seamlessly combines homogenized squares for phenomenal end-to-end direct-view pixel-mapped looks, with the high output and long throw to perform equally well as a cyc, footlight, or traditional batten down light. Its advanced IP65 design brings lighter weight and all-weather durability together in one fixture at home both on the road and in permanent installations.

Color Quality and On-Camera Performance

For white light and skin-tone critical environments, the fixture provides linear color temperature presets from 2800 K to 8000 K, with high TM-30, CRI and CQS. It also supports +/- Green adjustment and emulated red-shift via DMX or on-board control, helping match cameras, practicals, and other fixtures more quickly in mixed rigs. Virtually silent operation makes it a practical choice for studio and set use.

Optics and Beam Shaping

The output is engineered for clean, even coverage with perfectly blended color from edge to edge of the cell (no “circle in a square” look). A selection of beam shaping filters is included to broaden the choice of projection effects, with a slide-in slot that supports included and accessory filters, plus an on-board stowable glare shield for tighter control of direct-view glare. Beam angle is 17.4° (37.9° with CYC diffusion, 18.5° with Half diffusion, 24.8° with Stealth diffusion). Output is rated up to 17,090 lumens (14,038 with CYC diffusion, 14,998 with Half diffusion, 5,090 with Stealth diffusion) and illuminance up to 3,339 lux at 5 m (911 with CYC diffusion, 2,380 with Half diffusion, 501 with Stealth diffusion).

Control, Networking, and Dimming

Control is via DMX, ArtNet or sACN, with multiple control methods from on-board DMX, RDM, CRMX, Art-Net and sACN for flexible integration into modern networked rigs. Ultra-smooth 18-bit dimming curves and speeds complement theatrical fades and broadcast cues, while selectable PWM (1,000 Hz to 25,000 Hz) helps reduce camera flicker risk across a range of frame rates and shutter settings.

Rigging and Build for Road or Install

With improved and simplified rigging options, easily adjustable sliding brackets on a standard T-rail for placement around truss supports, and guide pins for easy end-to-end alignment, COLORado Solo Bar 4 is built to line up cleanly for continuous runs and consistent spacing. It uses 16 (RGBWwL) LED engines and measures 46.63 x 7.87 x 8.36 in (1184.5 x 200 x 212.4 mm) at 38.0 lb (17.0 kg).
