A powerful, outdoor-ready wash built for long-throw applications, the Chauvet Professional Maverick Storm 4 SoloWash is an IP65-rated 1,250 W LED yoke fixture designed to deliver classic wash looks with the modern toolset lighting designers expect. Its CMY + CTO color mixing, plus an independent color wheel with CRI and CTB filters, gives you a wide, practical palette for stadiums, arenas, touring rigs, and any install that needs consistent color and punch indoors or out.
These units are B-Stock from Chauvet and come with a 90 day warranty. A SIP insert is included.
Outdoor-ready output with flexible color control
Engineered for demanding environments, this IP65 fixture is calibrated to match the colors of other Storm fixtures in the rig, making it easier to maintain a cohesive look across mixed positions. The variable CMY + CTO system supports everything from saturated color to usable whites, and the dedicated CRI and CTB filters add quick, show-friendly options for camera, broadcast, and mixed-source stages.
Beam shaping for more than “just a wash”
The expansive 9.5:1 zoom (7.1° to 74.1°) lets you move from tight, stadium-level throws to wide area coverage without changing fixtures. When you need added control, the 4-blade framing shutter system with rotation helps you keep light off scenery, IMAG screens, or the audience, while the iris, frost, and animation wheel provide additional beam shaping and texture options.
Effect tools for texture and motion
Beyond smooth fades with 16-bit master dimming, the SoloWash includes a rotating, indexing, interchangeable slot-and-lock gobo wheel with geometric shapes, plus an animation wheel for kinetic, textured effects. This makes it a strong choice for rigs that want wash coverage, but still need the ability to build movement and breakup without swapping to a dedicated profile.
Control, networking, and service features
Integrate easily into modern control systems via DMX and RDM, or run network protocols like sACN and Art-Net. W-DMX support provides cable-free flexibility where appropriate. For practical maintenance and setup, it includes three setup menu presets with preset sync for cross-loading to multiple like fixtures, a USB-C slot for software uploads, and a battery backup display with auto-rotate depending on orientation. Fail Safe Ethernet connectivity allows data to pass even if fixture power is lost.
