NEW ADJ Ultra LB18

Delivering vibrant, punchy color mixing, ADJ’s Ultra LB18 is a professional linear LED wash fixture designed to light stages, dancefloors, décor, and wall sections with smooth, even coverage. It uses 18 x 10-Watt 5-in-1 long life LEDs (red, green, blue, amber and lime) to produce a wide range of saturated colors, plus high-quality white light with a variable color temperature between 2,300K and 9,900K. The added lime LED expands pastel and white mixing and boosts the CRI of the white output to in excess of 90, making it a strong option for environments where accurate skin tones and décor colors matter.

Optics and Coverage for Wash Applications

With a 17 x 40-degree beam angle, the Ultra LB18 is well-suited to washing medium-to-wide areas from typical trim heights, whether you are highlighting a backdrop, creating architectural color, or building a low-profile floor package. Flicker-free operation helps it stay clean on camera, and selectable refresh rates (2.88kHz to 25kHz) allow you to tailor performance to different video and broadcast needs.

Installation-Friendly Design for Permanent or Rental Use

The fixture is designed for permanent installation in bars, clubs, lounges, theatres, concert venues and churches, as well as temporary indoor event production. Included brackets support floor mounting or clamp attachment for truss use, and the magnetic end-to-end alignment makes it easy to line up adjacent fixtures into longer, continuous LED runs for more uniform wall washes and seamless scenic looks. A removable glare shield blocks direct LED view for improved comfort in sightline-sensitive installs and also helps protect the LEDs during transport.

Control Options: Standalone, Sound Active, or Advanced DMX

The Ultra LB18 offers six operational modes: Auto Run, Program Mode, Sound Trigger (utilizing an in-built microphone), RGBAL Manual, Static Color and DMX-512. It provides 11 DMX channel modes (5, 8, 10, 13, 16, 30, 33, 38, 41, 60 and 71 channels), including pixel control across 6 groups of 3 RGBAL LED pixels in the higher channel modes for chases, segmented color, and mapped looks. For quick setup, you can access built-in color macros and 15 white color temperature presets, and then refine fades with multiple dim modes and selectable dim curves. A rear digital display with 4-button menu interface allows straightforward mode selection and DMX addressing, and a USB port supports convenient firmware updates.

System Compatibility and Power Linking

For cable-friendly system builds, the Ultra LB18 links DMX via 5-pin XLR and includes locking power in/out for daisy-chaining. It is compatible with ADJ’s UC IR wireless remote (up to 32.8 ft / 10 m). Multi-voltage operation (AC 100V-240V, 50/60Hz) and a 130W power draw support flexible deployment, with power linking up to 12 units at 120V and up to 25 units at 240V.
