NEW GLP Impression X5

The GLP Impression X5 is a high-output LED moving head wash designed to cut through challenging lighting environments with 19 exclusive 40 W RGBL LEDs and up to 11,200 lm of output. With a wide 3.5° to 60° zoom (1:16 ratio) and fast 540° pan and 240° tilt movement, it covers everything from tight aerial looks to broad stage washes in a compact, tour-ready form factor.

High-output LED engine with expanded color control

The light source at the heart of the impression X5 was developed specifically to offer an expanded and more comprehensive color gamut. Incorporating a brand new algorithm, called iQ.Gamut, the impression X5 is able to deliver accuracy, quality and consistency on every occasion. White points are calibrated perfectly to the black body line and the expanded gamut can be accessed via three different color control modes, depending on user preference. Beyond standard mixing, a virtual color wheel is included with 64 referenced LEE color filters.

For broadcast, key light, and camera-facing applications, the Impression X5 offers calibrated CCT options with a default white point at 6,500 K (with optional 8,000 K, 5,600 K, 4,200 K, and 3,200 K), plus low Duv values for cleaner whites and more natural skin tones on stage and on camera. Output can be tailored using CQC (Color Quality Control) modes, High Output (HO) and High Quality (HQ), and you can fine-tune magenta/green shift to match other fixtures or compensate for camera sensors.

Zoom range that adapts from punch to wash

With a minimum zoom of 3.5° and a maximum zoom of 60°, the Impression X5 can function as a tight, high-intensity beam for mid-air accents or a wide wash for even stage coverage. The large 260 mm output lens supports smooth field distribution, while 16-bit dimming from 0 to 100% helps maintain subtle fades and consistent looks in theatrical cues and live show programming.

Pixel-mappable effects and built-in pattern tools

Each LED source in the impression X5 can be individually controlled for full pixel mapping effects and a comprehensive effects section is included that has twin layers and many dynamic pattern macros.

For quick looks without external media servers, the fixture includes an extensive pattern library (50+ static patterns and 50 dynamic patterns) with index and rotation, plus random pixel effects, pattern crossfade effects, pattern transition effects, and shutter-based effects with variable speed.
