NEW Elation Magmatic Javelin

A member of Magmatic’s Rocket series of CO2 cryogenic simulation effects, the Magmatic Javelin is a high-velocity CO2 simulator fog machine built for high-impact moments on stage, in clubs, and on tour. Featuring 34 x 2-watt RGBA LEDs for throws of dynamic colored effect, the Javelin can rotate 90-degrees for horizontal or vertical bursts of fog. Wrapped in a durable aluminum housing, the Javelin is intuitively controllable via DMX-512 and RDM and houses an easy-to use onboard LCD touch screen control panel.

High-Impact Bursts for Timed Cues

Designed for punchy effect hits, the Javelin delivers four, 10-second bursts with a fog burst distance of 5-6m in about 3 seconds. With a maximum output rated at 50,000 CFM, it is well-suited for moments that need a fast, high-velocity plume without the logistics of real CO2 systems.

Flexible Output Positioning

The 90-degree adjustable output makes it easy to fit the effect into different rigging and floor layouts. Run the Javelin vertically for classic “jet” looks or rotate it for horizontal throws that track across the stage or along a set piece.

Color-Matched Fog with Built-In RGBA LEDs

The integrated 34 x 2-watt RGBA LEDs add saturated color to the burst, making the effect read clearly in cameras and through haze-heavy environments. This helps you match the fog hit to scene color palettes or musical accents without relying solely on external lighting angles.

Control, Connectivity, and Show Integration

For streamlined setup in professional systems, the Javelin supports DMX-512 and RDM, offers four DMX channel modes (1 / 4 / 7 / 12), and includes locking 5-pin XLR in/out for reliable data connections. An onboard LCD touch control panel provides quick access for local configuration, and the unit also supports wired digital communication networking.

Tour-Ready Build and Efficient Operation

Built around a durable, tour-ready aluminum housing, the Javelin uses advanced HPA (high pressure air) pump technology and a thermally protected heat exchanger. It also includes an energy saving mode with auto-clean process, a sealed fluid reservoir, and external visual fluid level detection to simplify day-to-day operation. Initial ready time is approximately 9 minutes.
