GLP JDC1 Strobe

The GLP JDC1 Strobe is a dual-mode LED strobe fixture that pairs a traditional single tube element created with LEDs, producing an incredible clear, bright white output, with a surrounding full face of RGB power using a large array of complimentary LED sources. With independent control of the tube and plate elements, you can use each section on its own or combine them for layered strobe looks, color effects, and high-impact accents.

Along with working as a powerful strobe light, both the tube and the full face sections can be run continuously for high output blinder and wash light effects, which never reduce output or have thermal cutouts. This makes the JDC1 a practical choice for shows that need reliable, consistent intensity for hits, sweeps, audience moments, or continuous looks throughout a set.

Dual-Element Control and Effects

For detailed programming, the JDC1 gives you separate control of intensity, rate, and duration for both the center tube and the RGB plates. A macro channel with Pulse and Random effects provides fast access to dynamic looks when you need quick results, while DMX-512 control supports integration into standard lighting rigs and consoles.

Pixel Mapping Ready

To expand creative options, the RGB face can be divided into 12 separate pixel sections (with 6 pixels per plate section) for individual color and intensity control. The bright white tube can also be divided into 12 pixel sections, and the whole array can be fully pixel mapped through any standard controller. This setup is well-suited to chases, segmented hits, and mapped content across both the RGB face and white tube.

Precision Tilt and Touring-Friendly Operation

The fixture offers a 185 degree tilt range with 16-bit motorized tilt, position feedback, and high precision 3 phase stepping motor control for smooth, repeatable movement and accurate repositioning. A back-lit graphic-LCD menu and battery operation of the menu make setup and addressing easier in dark venues, and over-temperature protection adds confidence for demanding environments.
