Built for long throws, high-output stages, and wide theatrical washes, the Robe Robin 1000 LEDBeam uses an array of 37x 15 W RGBW LED multichips paired with purpose-built optics to maintain strong output across its zoom range. Fast-spin motors and Robe’s speedy movement software (as used in Pointe and Robin 100 LEDBeam) help deliver quick, precise looks for concerts, broadcast, and touring rigs.

Output, Optics, and Zoom Control

The fixture delivers a total lumen output of 16,000 lm with light output rated at 18,000 lx @ 5 m. A high-efficiency optical system and wide 4° to 63° zoom range support tight aerial beam looks, mid-range punch, and broader wash coverage without changing fixtures. LED life expectancy is minimum 60,000 hours, with typical lumen maintenance of 70% @ 60,000 hours.

Color Mixing, Whites, and Effects

RGBW and CMYW color mixing is available in 8-bit or 16-bit control for smooth fades and accurate color matching. For practical white-light work, the Robin 1000 LEDBeam includes a CTO filter and a virtual color wheel with 237 pre-programmed colors, including whites at 2,700 K, 3,200 K, 4,200 K, 5,600 K, and 8,000 K. Tungsten lamp effects are available at 2,700 K and 3,200 K for classic incandescent-style dimming behavior.

For dynamic looks, you also get color rainbow effects (both directions with variable speed), zone color effects (both directions with variable speed), and a strobe up to 20 flashes per second. Additional options include individual zone strobe, random strobe, and pulse effects.

Three-Zone LED Ring Control

The fixture’s LEDs are arranged in 3 controllable LED rings, allowing individual color control per ring. This makes it easier to build layered color chases, ring-based sweeps, and segmented looks that read well on camera and across large stages.

Control, Networking, and Integration

Designed for modern lighting networks, the Robin 1000 LEDBeam supports USITT DMX-512 and RDM, plus ArtNet, MA Net, MA Net2, and sACN via Ethernet. It offers 5 DMX protocol modes with control channel options of 10, 15, 21, or 37 channels for easy integration into small systems or detailed programming environments. Data connections include locking 3-pin and 5-pin XLR in/out, and an Ethernet port for Art-Net and ACN-ready connectivity. An optional wireless version is available using CRMX technology from Lumen Radio.

Movement, Programming, and On-Fixture Tools

Pan and tilt movement ranges are 450° and 300°, with 16-bit movement resolution for smooth, repeatable positioning. Features include automatic pan/tilt position correction and built-in pan/tilt macros. Stand-alone operation is supported with 3 editable programs of up to 100 steps.

Setup and diagnostics are streamlined with Robe Navigation System 2 (RNS2), a QVGA Robe touch screen (with battery backup), a gravitation sensor for auto screen positioning, and an operation memory service log with RTC. A built-in analyser helps with troubleshooting and fault finding during prep or load-in.
