NEW Elation SEVEN Batten 72

The Elation SEVEN Batten 72 is a seven color 6 foot (1.8m) batten wash luminaire designed for stages, venues, and broadcast environments that need wide, even coverage and precise color control. It uses (60) 25W 7-in-1 RGBAW + Lime + UV (395nm) LEDs for smooth color mixing, including vibrant saturated looks, clean whites, and UV output for effect-driven scenes.

Color Control and Pixel Mapping

For programming flexibility, the fixture provides individual hue, saturation, and intensity control, plus a special RGB SEVEN 3 channel mode (RGB + dynamic white, amber, lime, and UV) for streamlined operation when fast setups or limited channel counts matter. Pixel-based looks are supported through 10 pixel mapping zones with a pixel flip mode, making the SEVEN Batten 72 a practical choice for chases, gradients, and media-server-style effects across linear scenic elements.

Built-In Looks and Dimming Performance

When you need quick, repeatable results, the unit includes 12 internal programs with speed and fade control and 64 unique 7-color macros for consistent palettes across a rig. Selectable 16-bit dimming curve modes help fine-tune fade behavior, while adjustable LED refresh rate and gamma brightness support flicker free operation for TV and FILM.

Control, Networking, and System Integration

The SEVEN Batten 72 supports DMX with 3/5pin connections, plus network control via Art-Net and Kling-Net, along with RDM (Remote Device Management) for fixture status and addressing over compatible systems. Connectivity includes RJ45 etherCON and power in/out for efficient distribution in permanent installs and touring builds.

Mounting, Build, and Physical Specs

Dual 220° manual tilt adjustable mounting brackets make it easy to aim the output for wall washes, cyc lighting, or angled scenic applications. The fixture is built with a rugged powder coated die-cast aluminum exterior and includes an integrated gel / frost filter slot for diffusion options. Dimensions are 72.0” (1828.8mm) long by 4.5” (114.3mm) wide with a 9.0” (228.6mm) vertical height, and the fixture weighs 58.0 lbs. (26.3kg). A multi-voltage universal auto switching power supply (100-240v) supports use across common power standards, and an OLED menu display with a 4-button control panel simplifies local setup.
