The NEW Blizzard LB Hex Unplugged is a compact, battery-powered LED wash fixture designed for clean, vibrant uplighting and color washes where running power and cables is inconvenient. It features 6x 6-watt RGBAW+UV LEDs for smooth color mixing, plus an Intelion lithium-ion battery system that delivers up to 15 hours of runtime on a single charge, depending on output and usage.
Color, Looks, and Control Options
LB Hex Unplugged provides multiple color presets and built-in auto and sound-active modes for quick setup in event spaces, stages, and mobile rigs. For more precise programming, these same looks are available in DMX and standalone modes, with a 4-button LED control panel for straightforward onsite adjustments. A wireless IR remote control is also supported for convenient basic control without adding cables.
Performance for Video and Quiet Rooms
A flicker-free constant-current LED driver helps maintain stable output for camera work, while variable electronic dimming and user-selectable 32-bit dimming curves make fades look more natural. Strobe is adjustable from 1 to 20Hz with five different effects for accent hits and time-synced looks.
Battery System and Silent Cooling
The Intelion lithium-ion battery system includes real-time battery life monitoring and selectable power saving modes, helping you manage runtime across long events. The convection-cooled housing keeps operation totally silent, which is especially useful for weddings, corporate presentations, and theaters where fan noise is a distraction.
Rigging, Connectivity, and System Compatibility
A dual bracket provides flexible mounting options for floor uplighting or truss and stand mounting. Connectivity includes 3-pin male/female XLR input and output for DMX runs, plus PowerCon compatible AC power In/Out for streamlined power linking when you are not running on battery. LB Hex Unplugged is also wiCICLE enabled for compatible wireless DMX workflows.
