ETC Gio @5 Console, 24,576 Outputs
Description
ETC Gio @5 brings Eos-family lighting control to venues that need a compact, portable console without giving up professional programming tools. Designed for theatres, houses of worship, touring rigs, and multi-purpose spaces, it offers a familiar Eos workflow with an integrated touchscreen and full-function backlit keyboard, so you can program quickly at FOH, in a booth, or on the road with minimal external gear.
A road case is included.
Hands-on Eos control in a smaller footprint
The Gio @5 console features the same full-function, backlit keyboard found on the Eos Programming Wing and Gio console, helping experienced Eos users transition easily while giving new programmers a platform to build skills that scale up. An integrated 18.5 inch multi-touch LCD supports display, direct selection, and context-sensitive control, reducing reliance on external monitors and accessories.
Playback and programming tools for complex shows
Built for busking and tightly cued productions alike, Gio @5 includes a master playback pair with motorized 60 mm faders, plus five 60 mm motorized faders across 200 pages for flexible playback configuration. These can be assigned to cue lists, submasters, grand masters, and IFCB palette/presets lists or individual instances, so your show layout can match your workflow.
The Central Information Area (CIA) provides quick access to an electronic alpha keyboard, Hue + Saturation color picker, gel picker, browser, and other controls. Four force-feedback encoders support fast, tactile adjustment of non-intensity parameters, and the high-density channel display offers format and flexi-channel modes for cleaner navigation when working with large patch lists.
Capacity, multi-user control, and show-building flexibility
- 24,576 outputs and 32,768 control channels for large rigs, multi-universe systems, and expanded network distribution.
- Up to 99 discrete users, partitioned control, and configurable user environments for shared venues, education, and multi-operator productions.
- Four discrete palette types (IFCB), with Presets functioning as an “all palette” tool for consistent updates across a show.
- Effects with dynamic relational and absolute progressive behavior, plus up to six abstract color spaces, tinting, spectrum, and fade path tools.
- User-designed interactive magic sheets for building operator-friendly layouts, including custom targets and visual navigation.
- Virtual Media Server function for pixel-mapped effects, images, and animations.
Networking, protocols, and interoperability
Gio @5 supports ETCNet2 and Net3 (powered by ACN), ArtNet, and Avab UDP output protocols, with two individually configurable Ethernet ports for flexible network topologies. It also supports multiple MIDI and/or SMPTE TimeCode inputs, MIDI in and out, analog/serial inputs, and OSC transmit/receive for integration with automation, media, and third-party control systems.
Show import and multi-language support
For existing inventories and legacy venues, Gio @5 supports show import from Obsession, Express, Expression, Emphasis, Congo, Cobalt, Grand MA1, Grand MA2, Safari, and Strand 500/300 Series. Multi-language support includes English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional).
