The Barco HDX-W20 Flex is a WUXGA 3-chip DLP projector built for high-brightness event projection, large venues, and demanding live production environments. Delivering 20,000 center lumens, it’s designed to keep images vibrant on big screens and in challenging ambient light.

The HDX-W20 Flex offers 20,000 lumens of light output with standard light-on-demand. Thanks to the light-on-demand feature, you can fully tune the light output of the projector to your event: it can be programmed to a light output of 10,000 to 20,000 lumens in 2,000 incremental steps.

High-resolution, 3-chip DLP imaging

With a 1,920 x 1,200 (WUXGA) resolution in a 16:10 aspect ratio, the HDX-W20 Flex is well-suited for wide-format content, detailed graphics, and IMAG workflows where clarity matters. Its 0.96 inch DMD x 3 architecture supports consistent color and image stability typical of 3-chip projection.

Edge blending and uniformity for multi-projector setups

For panoramic screens and blended canvases, ScenergiX horizontal and vertical edge blending helps align images across multiple projectors. Brightness uniformity is rated at 90%, supporting a more even look across the projected surface.

Lens flexibility for a wide range of throws

Built around Barco’s TLD+ lens family, the HDX-W20 Flex can be configured for anything from short-throw to long-throw applications. Available lens ranges include 0.73:1; 1.2:1; 1.25-1.6:1; 1.5-2.0:1; 2.0-2.8:1; 2.8-4.5:1; 4.5-7.5:1; and 7.5-11.5:1, helping you match the projector to your room geometry and rigging constraints.

Inputs and color tools for production workflows

This projector supports professional integration and signal routing with its DVI/SDI and RGBHV input cards. For color matching across a fleet or adapting to different screen materials, it includes P7 color correction. Contrast performance is rated at 1,850:1 (standard) and up to 2,600:1 (high contrast mode).
