The NEW AAdynTech JAB Hurricane, Kit 3 is a weatherproof, daylight-balanced LED fixture package designed for demanding location and studio production. The JAB Hurricane delivers 2,360 fc @ 10 feet while consuming only 1.77 amps at full power, making it a strong choice when you need high output but power is limited. With an IP65 rating, it is totally protected from dust and water from any direction, so you can keep shooting in challenging environments.

High Output with Efficient Power Options

Built for efficient operation, the Hurricane supports auto range voltage (90/240 VAC, 50/60Hz) and can also run on 28.8V DC battery power for hours with a battery source. Up to 90% energy savings and cool operation help when working on long days, tight power distributions, or remote sets.

Quiet, Flicker-Free Performance for Video

Fan-less convection cooling keeps the fixture silent for interview setups, sound stages, and other noise-sensitive environments, and it stays cool to the touch with no heat generation. Flicker-free operation up to 12,000 frames per second supports high-speed capture, and the 5600K CCT output is designed to maintain a flat, even field with no color shift. With no UV or IR emissions on talent, it is well suited for close working distances.

Beam Control and On-Set Flexibility

High optical efficiency provides a single light-source, eliminating multiple shadows, while quick change lenses let you move between spot, medium, and flood looks while maintaining a flat, even illumination field. Precise brightness control with a variable dimming curve, plus a douse button (momentary off), makes it easy to dial in exposure or cut output quickly between takes.

Control and Integration

For straightforward control on set, the Hurricane offers local onboard control and DMX with DMX loop-thru, including 5-pin XLR DMX In/Out. When used with the UIM, it supports programmable multiple lightning and strobe effects (witih UIM) along with multiple user memory storage with recall (with UIM), which can be helpful for repeatable cues and consistent setups across scenes.
