Litepanels Astra 1x1 Bi-Color LED

The Litepanels Astra 1x1 Bi-Color LED is a high-output 1x1 panel designed for professional video and photo lighting where accurate color and controllable intensity matter. Built around high CRI, surface mount LEDs paired with TIR optics, the Astra 1x1 delivers superior color reproduction and a light output that is up to four times brighter than traditional LED panels. The added intensity provides a longer throw and illuminates a wider area, helping a single fixture compete with strong ambient light or cover larger spaces more effectively.

Please note that these do not include a DMX module.

Light Quality and Bi-Color Control

The bi-color design lets you dial in accurate color temperatures from daylight to tungsten, making it easy to match mixed lighting on set or maintain consistency across scenes. Ultra-smooth dimming from 100% to 0 helps fine-tune exposure without stepping, while maintaining stable color with no noticeable shift throughout the entire dimming range.

Performance for Video Production

With flicker-free output at any frame rate or shutter angle, the Astra 1x1 is well suited for high-speed shooting and demanding camera settings. Its custom paired optics and tightly binned LEDs help maintain an even, usable beam, translating the fixture’s higher intensity into practical coverage and throw in real-world setups.

Thermal Management and On-Set Noise Control

Efficient thermal management includes user-selectable dual cooling modes. Use completely silent passive cooling when audio is critical, or switch to an ultra-quiet active cooling mode when you need maximum output.

The panel measures 17.7 x 16.3 x 5.3 inches (45 x 41.3 x 13.4 cm) and weighs 7 lb (3.2 kg), offering a strong balance of output and portability for studio work, location shoots, and mobile kits.
