Description
The Large 54" x 72" Chimera Daylite Senior Plus 1 is the largest, most durable softbox Chimera makes, built to deliver broad, even soft light from high-output Fresnel fixtures on demanding sets. It is designed for use with a Fresnel up to 24000 Watts with a front diameter between 24 and 29 inches.
Optimized for High-Wattage Fresnels
Unlike shallower lightbanks, the Daylite Senior Plus 1 utilizes an extremely deep profile of 50 inches. The extra depth of the Daylite Senior allows the fresnel beam to spread out and cover the front face more evenly, which is especially useful with narrow-beam fixtures where hot spots and falloff can be harder to control.
Heat-Resistant, Set-Ready Construction
This extra depth, combined with a Fabric that is even more heat resistant, makes the box safe when used with a 24K light. The durable construction is intended for repeated use in professional production environments where reliability and consistent output matter.
