Description
The Chimera 36" x 48" Medium Daylite Plus 1 is designed for use with medium fresnel lights up to 6000 Watts. The extra depth of the Daylite allows the light beam from a fresnel fixture to spread out and cover the front face more evenly, helping you achieve smoother, more consistent illumination across the full 36" x 48" output.
Optimized for Fresnel Workflows
Built around the needs of narrow-beam fixtures, the Daylite Plus 1 design helps a fresnel’s focused output open up inside the lightbank before it reaches the front diffusion. In practice, that means fewer hot spots and a more uniform field, especially useful when lighting larger subjects, backdrops, or broad key and fill sources on set.
Size, Build, and On-Set Durability
With a 36" x 48" face and durable construction, this lightbank is sized for medium fresnels where you want a larger, softer source while keeping control and efficiency. The increased depth also supports even illumination across the face, which can reduce the need for extra flagging or repositioning to balance the beam.
