NEW Arri SkyPanel S60-RP 5600K

The NEW Arri SkyPanel S60-RP 5600K is a mid-range, soft LED fixture designed for film, television, and studio workflows that need high output, accurate color, and a clean, uniform beam field. With a 645 x 300 mm light aperture, the S60 form factor comfortably handles the majority of key, fill, and soft top-light applications while remaining lightweight and compact for rigging on set.

SkyPanel Family Sizes and Practical Fit

SkyPanel is available in three sizes: the S120, S60 and S30. The S120 is twice as long as the S60, but weighs nearly the same. Its larger light aperture makes a great soft light even better. Retaining the same features and color tunability as its smaller counterparts, the S120 consumes less than 400 watts, yet it is slightly brighter than the S60-C and has an outstanding efficacy of 90 lumens per watt. The S60 is a mid-range model, featuring a light aperture of 645 x 300 mm and accommodating the vast majority of applications. The S30 is a smaller, more portable version; half the length of the S60, it is perfect for on-the-go mobile applications. The S60 and the S30 are available in fully color tunable and remote phosphor versions.

Output and Control Range

Unlike other tunable fixtures, SkyPanel makes no sacrifice when it comes to light output. SkyPanel puts out a tremendous amount of light, in a soft and uniform beam field. Brighter than a 1 kW tungsten soft light or a 3 kW tungsten space light, the SkyPanel S30 has more than enough light for most applications. At the same time, the lamphead is able to perform beautifully at lower light levels. This range of illumination and color gives users an unprecedented amount of control.

Remote Phosphor Workflow (S60-RP)

The S60-RP uses interchangeable Remote Phosphor panels to quickly change the fixture’s look across a wide range of correlated color temperatures (2700, 3200, 4300, 5600, 6500, 10,000 K) and Chroma Green. This makes it easy to match common practicals, balance to daylight (5600K), or fine-tune for mixed lighting without swapping the entire fixture. Ultra high color rendering supports consistent skin tones and reliable color reproduction for camera.

Power, Connectivity, and On-Set Integration

Designed for modern set infrastructure, the SkyPanel S60-RP supports 420 W nominal low power consumption and is fully dimmable from 0 to 100%. It includes an external lightweight PSU and supports on-board battery connection (23 to 36V DC) for mobile setups. Onboard controls include a simple control panel, DMX in and out with RDM implementation, and an EtherCon port for network connectivity. A USB-A connection enables firmware updates, and fan mode selection helps manage output versus noise depending on the shooting environment. The fixture uses a powerCON TRUE1 power connector and is available in Blue/Silver and Black.
