The ROBE ROBIN BMFL WashBeam (Pkg of 2) is a pair of high-output moving heads built for large-stage wash and aerial beam looks, using a wide 180 mm front lens for a bold, volumetric beam presence. With a custom light source designed for Robe, it produces an astounding 300.000 lux at 5 metres, giving you strong mid-air visibility and punchy output on scenic elements when you need it.

Beam, Wash, and Projection Looks

The BMFL WashBeam supports a wide range of show-ready textures and projection options, from beam looks to spot-like surface projections. A rotating gobo wheel with carefully selected gobos enables varied in-air animations, while an aluminium animation wheel can be used alone or layered with gobos for more complex motion effects. Motorized zoom and focus help you match looks across different throw distances, and the motorized iris (with pulse effects up to 3 Hz) adds fast, rhythmic beam shaping.

Color Mixing and Color Control

For color workflow, CMY mixing is available (cyan, magenta, and yellow each 0-100%), along with variable CTO from 2.700-6.000 K for matching warmer or cooler scenes. Two color wheels expand palette options: one wheel provides 6 fixed dichroic colors (deep red, deep blue, orange, green, magenta, congo blue) plus white, and a second wheel provides 6 replaceable “SLOT&LOCK” dichroic colors (pink, lavender, laser green, 9.000 K CTB, minus half and minus green) plus white.

Framing, Frost, and Shutter Effects

Four fast shutter blades with smooth, precise movement offer individually angled positions within a frame, and the complete framing system rotates through 90 degrees for accurately repeatable cuts and orientation. Frost options include Variable Light and Medium, plus a replaceable Heavy frost (two additional frosts included), helping you move from defined beam looks to softer wash textures without changing fixtures.
