Description
The Lycian #1290 Followspot is a high-precision xenon follow spotlight designed for live performance and event applications where clean beam control, fast adjustments, and stable alignment matter. Its optical train consists of a high precision, electro-formed reflector, heavy duty nichrome iris, chopping shutter, gobo holder, fader, effect slot and a single level variable focal length zoom objective lens system.
Optical Control for Live Tracking
For smooth, confident tracking, the 1290 provides a rapid focus knob located on both sides of the spotlight to be able to focus within 4 revolutions. Top mounted controls for the iris, fader, and shutter keep the most-used adjustments within easy reach while operating.
Flexible Operation and Beam Shaping
Dual control for zoom and a reversible color boom makes the spotlight readily convertible from right to left operation, which is especially useful in venues that swap operator positions between shows. The integrated gobo holder and effect slot support quick look changes without interrupting the workflow.
Built for Stable Alignment and Practical Setup
With a 2000W xenon lamp and a self-contained power supply, the Lycian #1290 Followspot keeps the system consolidated for simpler deployment. Its single unit, chassis construction is designed for stable optical alignment. Head dimensions are 73"L x 22.5"H x 19.5"W, with a head weight of 186 lbs.
