NEW Blizzard HotBox RGBW

The NEW Blizzard HotBox RGBW is a compact, portable LED PAR fixture built for punchy color washes, uplighting, and small-to-mid rig accent lighting. It combines cutting-edge 4-in-1 RGBW LEDs and advanced electronics with a rock solid aluminum casing, dual hanging brackets, and secure grip locking knobs. It weighs in at just 3.5 pounds and is only 4 x 5 x 5 inches (7.25 inches tall including the brackets), making it easy to pack, hang, and aim in tight spaces.

Output and Color Control

The HotBox RGBW puts out a ton of light with 7x 10-watt 4-in-1 LEDs. You get full control of color mixing, 31 built-in programs, ultra smooth flicker-free 32-bit dimming, and easy HSV color mixing ability in 3-channel mode. Variable electronic dimming and strobe are available, along with 5 user-selectable 32-bit dimming curves, so you can match the fade response to different looks and controllers.

DMX Flexibility, Standalone, and Built-In Programs

Its user selectable 3/4/5/8 or 9 DMX channel modes lets it work with a wide range of consoles and setups, including popular 3-channel controllers. Built-in color and chase macros can be accessed via DMX, and you can also run built-in automated programs via master/slave. For fast setups without a controller, the HotBox supports standalone color mixing, auto mode, custom color mixing, and user adjustable fade and strobe effects.

Onboard Control and Sound-Active Operation

The easy to use built-in 4-button LED control panel provides direct access to fixture settings including master/slave configuration, sound active mode, built-in programs, and auto operation. Built-in sound active programs make it easy to create movement and color changes that follow the beat for mobile rigs, parties, and performance spaces where quick programming is a priority.

Connectivity, Wireless DMX Support, and Cooling

The HotBox also comes equipped with industry standard powerCON compatible power input/output and 3-pin DMX connections (3-pin male input and 3-pin female output). You can also take full advantage of Blizzard’s wiCICLE wireless DMX system without the need for external power thanks to the wiCICLE enabled DMX jacks. An innovative design provides power to the system directly from the fixture’s DMX jack, meaning even fewer cords and less setup time.

Build, Mounting, and Technical Specs

Designed to be rugged and well-built (it hits the gym regularly), the fixture uses super-quiet variable-speed internal fan cooling and a flicker-free constant-current 400hz LED driver for stable output. Dual mounting brackets provide positioning flexibility for floor placement or hanging. Dimensions are 5 inches (127 mm) long, 4 inches (101.6 mm) wide, and 5 inches (127 mm) tall (7.25 inches w/brackets), with a total weight of 3.5 lbs (1.6 kg).
