Package of 6. The NEW City Theatrical S4 Par 7.5" Top Hat is designed for Source Four PAR fixtures to help control light spill and reduce the viewing angle to the lens. In practical use, top hats are a fast, tool-free way to keep stray light off scenery and out of the audience or camera frame, especially when fixture optics are imperfect or lenses are poorly maintained.

Light Spill and Glare Control

City Theatrical Standard Top Hats serve two functions in entertainment lighting: To control light spill, or to reduce the viewing angle to the lens. Sometimes poor fixture optics or poorly maintained lenses can cause light to be directed into the audience or onto scenery, and top hats can help control that. It is also often objectionable to the audience or camera to see the bright source of the light and top hats can shield the bright source from view.

Interior Flocking for Reduced Reflections

All of our black top hats and half top hats are flocked on the interior to reduce light reflection. Black flocked interior is standard on all black top hats and half top hats for maximum reduction of glare and spill.

7.5" Top Hats for Source Four Pars, sized to match S4 PAR fixtures for cleaner beam presentation and better on-stage contrast.
