The Tomcat Truss 12" X 5' Black is a 12-inch aluminum box truss section designed for building lighting, audio, and video support structures for stages, events, and permanent installations. It is built for compatibility and safe, repeatable rigging when assembling longer spans and frames with other Tomcat truss components.

All used truss is painted black (not powder coated black).
Construction Details
This 12" x 12" truss uses 2" OD x 1/8" main chords (50.8 mm OD x 3.1 mm aluminum) for the primary structure, with 1" OD x 1/8" diagonals (25.4 mm OD x 3.1 mm aluminum) to support rigidity. It is fabricated by certified welders for consistent fit and dependable performance when used in typical entertainment rigging workflows.
Finish and Use Case
Finished in black paint, this section is well-suited for visually discreet truss builds where reflections and bright metal are undesirable, such as concert lighting grids, theater overhead systems, DJ facades, and trade show structures.
